Illustration Project
Starting in mid-2016 I began to paint using my Galaxy Note 5. Below are some of those and some new ones. You may see a theme with some of these. The eyes have it, I’m an eye addict. It’s an interesting addition for my art muse.
A few of those pieces are included below too.
Most of my prints are currently sitting on Pixels.com, a very good Fine Art America site.
Dragon Book -Illustration
Painted with Autodesk Sketchbook
(Galaxy Note 5)
One of my most popular pieces. It’s the only thing selling at Matty’s Mugs (Etsy). It’s a piece a lot of people talk about and that is awesome but I wish I could make more like this 🙂
Monster Book – Illustration
Painted with Autodesk Sketchbook
(Galaxy Note 5)
The, not so popular, brother piece to Dragon book. I used the same book but wanted to paint something different coming out of it. This guy doesn’t have any mugs nor a Pixels site.
Future Book – Illustration
Painted with Procreate
I am predicting right here-right now that there will be a new entry to the #book series. Not sure what yet.
Maximus Illustraticus – Illustration
Painted with Autodesk Sketchbook
(Galaxy Note 5)
Max, the patron saint of my illustration gallery. The first major work that I did with Note 5. He was the guy that started it all, proof that I could do digital art.
Max Drinking – Illustration
Painted with Autodesk Sketchbook
(Galaxy Note 5)
The story behind this is that I happened across an image online and I thought it would be interesting to see from Max’s self-portrait perspective. I painted this close to when I painted original Max
Max with Sombrero
Painted with Autodesk Sketchbook
(Galaxy Note 5)
I at one time frequented a great Mexican restaurant and I was once brave enough to try to recommend some of my artwork to the owner.
Ear-Plane – Illustration
Painted with Procreate – charcoal/ink
Inspired by my silly need to paint facial parts of the body. That’s
a simple truth but there is also the desire to put it on something unnatural like an airplane wing.
Apple Nose-ring – Illustration
Painted with Procreate – charcoal/ink
Inspired similar but a little more complex… not really. I like to do things in three, this was an unusual take on Mt. Rushmore.
Eye Hot-air Balloon – Illustration
Painted with Procreate – charcoal/ink
Inspired by an illustration that was similar. This is my interpretation of that.
